How the Ebbinghaus schedule works

The forgetting curve, described by psychologist Hermann Ebbinghaus in 1885, shows that memory fades sharply within days of learning — unless you review at the right moments. Each review flattens the curve, so each recall takes less effort to keep.

Why review on days 1, 2, 4, 7 and 15?

These intervals hit just before each memory drop-off. ReviewList schedules every unit you learn to reappear exactly on those days, stacking new material on top of old reviews — the same technique used by medical and language students worldwide.

What paper sizes are supported?

US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) for the US and Canada, and A4 (210 × 297 mm) everywhere else. You can switch before downloading.

Can I add review reminders to my phone calendar?
